R Board Poster Contest
The Rappahannock Regional Solid Waste Management Board (R-Board) is excited to announce our Foam Container Ban Poster Contest for students in Stafford and Fredericksburg.
This contest invites students to use their creativity to design a poster that imagines a foam-free community and highlights why choosing better alternatives helps protect our environment, waterways, and wildlife. It is a fun way for students to learn about environmental stewardship while sharing an important message with the community.
Rules, Registration and Submissions
Contest Details:
• Open to students in Grades 6–12 in Stafford & Fredericksburg
• Poster size: 8.5 × 11 or 11 × 17
• Posters must include the words “Foam Container-Free” or “Ditch the Foam”
• Submission deadline: May 15, 2026
Winning posters will be recognized by the R-Board, and selected artwork may be used to help promote foam reduction efforts in our community.
